Back from Class Chalet.
Got Class Tee.
AWESOME class tee.
It actually has some meaning, unlike some other classes lol.

Chalet was awesome.
Watched 4 horror flicks I think? (Mardhi brought his DVD player)
Saw 2, Orphan, Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Drag Me To Hell.
Also watched New Moon on 9 Dec at Cathay E!Hub.
Bowling was fun too, both Joshua Tan and I scored the lowest scores with 40 heh.
Highest was Mardhi with 80 or 90 something I think.
(Quite a shocker since Jared was there)

Cycling was awesome.
Went with Sara, Beverly, Jie Pin, Xiao Tian, Hong Xiang and Wen Xiang.
Had to surrender my IC for all of them coz some didn't bring their EZ Link cards.
Was kinda hesitant to do so but wtv!
Stopped at the playground to play on the rotating thingy, and we all got dizzy.
Then Hong Xiang and Sara kept going further and further inland to Tampines and I was like telling them "Of course my IC your don't care right?"
Heh, was sort of scared they'd screw the bikes and all.

Barbecue was awesome.
Miss Lui actually treated us to all the food!
She asked us to meet her at E!Hub fairprice, so we thought she'd already bought the food and simply needed us to help carry the food back.
Hahah, so we went there, and then, when we saw Miss Lui, she said, "I need a trolley."
LOL! haha, so we shopped for food. Quite fun spending other people's money LOL.
But anyway, thanks Miss Lui for all the food!
She blew $100.75 on it, but luckily we finished it all.

We planned to wake up at 4 both mornings to go Pasir Ris park and watch the sunrise, but most of us failed to do so both mornings!
I had only about 7 to 8 hours of sleep the whole chalet lah wth.
And I only bathed once hehee.

Choir Camp was MAD FUN.

Really enjoyed choir camp.
Waterbombs was great!
Putting on Geisha powder was also a unique experience!
I don't feel like blogging much about Choir camp though, maybe a few days later.

I'm really amazed at how some people could think so immaturely and selfishly.
Everyone has differing opinions and you cannot think that just because someone doesn't agree with you then they are your enemies or something, please.

I missed the band concert D:
But I heard the Thai band totally stole the show haha.
Had quite a weird experience while compiling choir camp booklets in the COE the weekend before camp.
One sec 3 band member named Richmond or something actually came to us and told us how the concert programme booklets were "more expensive" than our choir camp booklets and how they were made of plastic and ours only paper.
HAHAHA LOL I was laughing inside man, damn funny/lame/arrogant of him say such things.
Anyway I have nothing against the Band :D

Y'all would probably also realise that I have changed my URL.

Before I begin, I would just like to say that this is my view on this shit, not Weiying's, Jared's, Clement's or Ridhwan's.

The following text is Felicia's post dated 21 Nov about the shit in Genting. Along with the post I will insert my rebuttals to what she has to say, coz I think it'd be much more convenient to say it here rather than tag.

(Everything in RED is whatever I have to say.)

Okay. I've had enough of all this. Friends tell me to not care anymore, and just give up. (They are your friends, obviously they would try to console you, why not try asking my friends too?) Adults told me to give it some time. Follow someone's advice, or my heart? No one's helping me. (Helping you do what? What is there that needs helping? You wanna win this argument and be right isit? If you want us to tell you you're right, or you win, then just say so, we'd be glad to say it to you.)

I'm sick and tired of being the nice friend around, when no one treats me the same way as I treat them. I try to think in your position, and try to reason everything out. But what do I get? Accusations. (Am I not wrong for accusing you of eavesdropping? Anybody in the right mind would know that if someone doesn't greet you when you answer a call, then it would not be something you should be hearing? Whether the phone rang or not, YOU EAVESDROPPED, LIVE WITH IT.) Fights. Quarrels. People talking behind my back. Is it fair? I ask you. Is it fair? I want you guys to know, after everything that happened, at this very moment, I still have faith in each one of you, alright? (You really sure about this?) I do not hate you guys. I've already forgiven ya'll long ago. (Wow, you've forgiven us? We didn't even acknowledge our faults yet. If you've forgiven us then why still talk about it here huh? What about "FORGIVE AND FORGET"?) Now, I'm just getting all of you to listen to my side of the story. 'Cos it's only fair to do so. (Yeah now I know why you still talked about it.)

Note: I'm alone in this. Abi's not included 'cos she doesn't want to care anymore. And the reason why I blogged about this here today, is not because I want the whole world to know. It's because I want to talk to you guys, but I know you guys won't agree to meet up with me. So, since all of you read my blog daily, why not blog it over here? You guys will read this anyway.

I'm sorry. But you guys made me do this. I've no other choice. (Oh really? Maybe before you blog next time, you could choose between 2 options: "Blog about it" or "Not blog about it". We did not force you to blog about it.)

Here's MY side of the story.

So, on Thursday morning, Abi, Aaron and I couldn't find you guys. Being friends, we were worried. (Well, usually in the mornings, people would eat breakfast. If you were worried about us MIA, then maybe your could have notified the teachers first?) So, we went up to your rooms to find you guys. Clement&Bert's, Siuyen&Ridhwan's. We went knocking, calling, and all. We decided to go back to the restaurant to find you guys. We found you guys, we were relieved. (If I'm not wrong) Ridhwan and Siuyen sort of acknowledged our presence, (We did.) and Abi Aaron and I told Ridhwan and Siuyen that we went up to your rooms etc etc etc. You guys did not really respond, and you guys left walking among yourselves.

We (Abi, Aaron and I) were puzzled. Like, after all that, you guys just walked off? Weird. Then it struck me. Maybe Siuyen wanted to spend guy-time with all the guys, that's why he left. But then again, we asked ourselves, why didn't he tell us. 'Cos we were asking ourselves, if Bertrand could tell Abi and I beforehand that he wanted to spend time with his seniors, why couldn't Siuyen do the same thing? (Because Bertrand and I think differently.) Abi was pissed, I was hurt/ disappointed. We decided to go on our own. (Actually, you followed us around for a bit, your wanted to come with us. Your did not decide straight away to not follow us. And did we say you couldn't follow us? Maybe your just thought the worst that we did not want your around? maybe we did want your to follow? I guess its too late to rethink that right?)

After much pondering, I decided to call Siuyen and talk to him about this matter. We were in our rooms. I called Siuyen's room, none picked up. I called Bertrand's, he picked up. He passed the phone to Siuyen. I told Siuyen that I had nothing against him (which was true) (You were hurt by my actions, so obviously you would be against me hurting you.) but I was just hurt by what he did, 'cos it doesn't kill for one to tell his friends beforehand about their plans what. (Yes, it doesn't kill. It also doesn't kill to not know of other's plans.) At least we know. Then, Siuyen apologised reluctantly, and he was pissed. I hung up by slamming the phone down, and I think Siuyen did the same thing. (Yes, I did slam it, and I didn't press Redial for crying out loud. Only callers you press redial.)

Seconds later, MY phone rang. I had no clue what was going on. But being human, I picked it up. Duh, anyone would. The next thing I knew, I heard Clement, Jared, Bertrand, Siuyen talking. Talking about? Talking about Abi and I, duh. (No one greeted you right? THATS MEANS WE DIDN'T CALL YOU. And it also means that whatever we were talking about was PRIVATE, NOT FOR YOU TO HEAR.) I heard everything. I don't wanna disclose it over here. (Wow, you've said so much alr, why not just spill huh? Afraid it may embarrass yourself?) But just want to let you guys know: I effing heard everything you guys said, okay? (Yeah! I sorta figured that out after you said "I heard everything.") So don't pretend I've no clue or I'm dilusional or whatever.

I was jaw-dropped. I started shivering. By the time I hung up, Abi was crying on her bed. I went to Weiying's room, told Weiying and HuiMin what happened. Weiying told me she'll help talk to you guys, but I didn't want her to be part of it, so I told her, I'll do most of the talking if necessary. (You did not even approach us to talk!) Abi and I sat away from all of the guys during dinner, so we had no idea what Weiying did.

You guys ignored us all the way till Singapore. Last night, I spoke to Siuyen.

According to him, he's pissed at because:
1. He's pissed at me for eavesdropping.
2. Abi called him a bastard. (I know now that she said that in a moment of anger, and we've forgiven each other alr.)
3. He doesn't see why he had to tell us his plans for that day. (I'm not angry because of the fact that I couldn't see why I had to tell your my plans, I am angry because your expect me to tell your my plans, I didn't think it was necessary, and I also thought that maybe your could have figured out my plans yourselves.)

K. Siuyen, you know what I said to you, so I don't have to explain our conversation here. But just to make it clearer for ALL OF YOU... (Why don't you just cut and paste? I really wouldn't mind you know, since I know its true.)

My phone did ring after Siuyen hung up. I've no idea how that happened, but I'm not lying. (I didn't accuse you of lying, and I would have no idea why you would be lying if I thought you were. I JUST DO NOT BELIEVE THAT THE PHONE RANG OKAY?) It did ring. Think about it. Siuyen didn't put the phone properly (That's probably what happened, first time I slammed a phone you see, SORRY LAH.) , so if you guys think I called again, I could not have gotten through your line. Come on. Now, you're blaming me for hearing what you guys have to say? Okay, maybe I was wrong for doing that. (YES YOU ARE WRONG. Since when was eavesdropping correct? or right?) But in the first place, isn't it wrong for you guys to talk behind our backs? (We were merely discussing our views on what your said, we did not talk bad about your merely for the fun of it.) Siuyen told me he would've not listened to the conversation 'cos he had the integrity to do so. (Yeah, I would have thought it would be a wrong call, or some error.) I tell you what. The first thing I thought of was that you guys purposely called me again, so that I could hear what you guys were saying. (Come on, we aren't stupid, but then again, it was a good way of letting you know how we feel.) But after a while, I realised Siuyen did not put the phone properly. And that's why I heard. Okay? It was because I thought you guys did it intentionally.

Siuyen tweeted today:
"I'm sick and tired of people who get angry over trivial matters and think that their always right."

FYI. I do not think I'm right all the time, okay? Do you know that I was the only one who tried to put myself into your shoes. Like, I tried to convince Abi that you had some reason for not telling us beforehand, but we did not know why. I still had faith in you. Sorry for disgressing. But here's what I want to say. Aren't you guys behaving that way now? Like, you guys think you're right? Come on. (WHEN DID WE SAY WE'RE RIGHT? WHEN? TELL ME?) You know, most of my friends (Your friends again? Why ot ask someone neutral next time? Obviously your friends would be supportive of your actions, HELLO?) who AREN'T in choir whom I asked, think that it's wrong in the first place for you guys to talk about us behind our backs. (Come one lah, everyone does that, no one knows unless they EAVESDROP.) I know everyone talks behind people's backs, but true friends don't. (Yeah, so maybe we aren't "true friends") I don't recall Abi and I bitching about you, Siuyen. (I wouldn't care if your were bitching about me. I really wouldn't. I believe bitching would allow an individual to get everything out and reconsider or rethink the situations at hand.) If you had done anything wrong, we always told you.

And why can't you believe me when I said my phone rang? I don't know why you can't. (I just cannot, it goes against common sense and technology for the phone to ring randomly.) The phone really did ring. Why would I lie? And like I said, I thought you guys wanted me to hear what you guys wanted to say, that's why maybe you guys called again. (It doesn't make any sense) But you're like blaming us for eavesdropping when you did the wrong thing in the first place. -_- Wth. (OH! So if someone does wrong, they cannot accuse others of doing wrong too? OMG WHERE'S THIS LAW WRITTEN? So what if we did wrong, you did wrong too, YOU EAVESDROPPED, ITS A FACT.)

You always tell us to put ourselves in other people's shoes. Why aren't you doing that now? Imagine IF you heard your friends talking bad about you behind your back, and then they blame you for eavesdropping when all you did was pick up a call. How would you feel? (I would try to forget it, coz, as I said above, bitching may help.)

Just know that I was never pissed with you. I was just hurt and disappointed by your actions.

Bertrand's tweet today:
"I'm sick and tired of people who are dillusional and can't get a clue. I'm also sick and tired of people who constanty think that their right when obviously they are not. Constant rebutting isn't going to get these people anywhere because it just pisses the other party off."

Just read what I said to Siuyen. And FYI, I know I'm not your mother. Okay? None of my friends need to tell me whenever they need to eat, shower, or sleep. I know that. It's just basic courtesy for a friend to tell us beforehand about their plans, so we know. (Yeah, so maybe we're not as courteous as you.) Okay? Even Abi and I liked it when you told us beforehand that you were planning to hang out with the seniors. So I don't see why you're so effing pissed at me until you said that about me. I heard everything you said, Bertrand. Don't assume I didn't. And I may seem dillusional, and I may seem to not get a clue. But just FYI, Abi and I spent the last night together trying to think of the reasons why you guys were pissed with us but we had no clue. No clue at all. (You really cannot think of anything you've done that may irritate others?)

Alright. I get it. It's because we don't know why you guys are pissed with us, that's why you guys think that Abi and I always think we're right? Is that it?

What the fuck am I talking about over here. (You're talking about your thoughts in Genting during the shit.)

And Weiying, I'm not weird. Neither is Abi. (Everyone is weird in different ways.) You agreed with me that if you were me, you would've heard the conversation. I don't know what you're doing now la. Maybe I was too gullible to have trusted you.

Y'know what.

After all that typing, I don't know whether this will benefit us. Will this make the matter worse? Will this attract more hatred? Will this piss you guys even more? I don't know. (The answer is: Yes.)

What I'm doing is letting everything out, and since I know you guys read my blog everyday, why not you guys read it from over here, since you guys don't wanna talk to us.

You know what. To Weiying, Clement, Bertrand, Siuyen, Jared.
If you don't like something about me, tell me. Okay? (I have nothing against you as a person, I am only angry and disapproving of your actions. YOUR ACTIONS, NOT OF YOU.) I only know what I know until here. If there's anything more, just speak. I don't care how much it hurts, but as long as I know. You guys complain about how I behave during choir, but in what way have I behaved till it pissed you guys off? (Separate matter.) I clearly do not suck up to our conductor, it doesn't do me good anyway. My goal in choir isn't to have a higher post in the choir. It's just a post, nothing more nothing less. I just don't see why you guys refuse to tell us about what you guys think is wrong in my behaviour. It's me. You can't expect me to change who I am. And Clement, you told me that you guys are willing to forgive me, if I change. How the hell am I gonna change when I don't even know what I did wrong? -_- I'm like thinking, I know what I've done isn't right. But what? What have I done?

This will be the last time I'll talk about this ever again.
I'm sick of crying while telling people this whole story. I was and am crying as I type this.

I'm giving us a long time to just cool off from this whole issue.

But what I'm asking from you guys is:
Can we just work together in peace, just for the choir? (I am alr separating choir and personal stuff.) It's only right to do so. And hey, if you guys don't like any part of the farewell party, just tell me. If you guys can think of a nicer name for the party, tell me la. You think it's easy? It isn't. You guys didn't even offer help and you guys are just behind my back insulting the name I came up with for the night. -_- (They aren't in the Farewell party comm.)

And if you guys refuse to work together with Abi and I just for choir matters. I'm sorry, but I'll have to speak to someone else about it. (Mdm Goo right?) As hard as it can get, I'm willing to just work together for the choir, nothing else. Like I said, it's only right to do so.

Its the second time my group's attempted and failed to conduct an experiment for Problem 4, fish/chicken bone :D
LOL, it was quite fun though, the bones in vinegar were really stinky as hell, gross as hell, and it felt like death! Ugh, Clement wore 3 gloves before he dared to touch it :O

So far, the only lessons I have fully understood are English, E Maths and Geography Elective.
A Maths is stupid, who the hell needs to prove trigo identities?
What? There's a job for that meh? I don't think so!
Physics has been quite complicated, the heat stuff and all.
Chem has been even worse, I don't really understand the lessons, but its not like this isn't common for me :D

Choir Camp is well underway, planning has been going smoothly!

apparently weiying thinks our discipline has improved.

Batik was fun, the wax smells oh-so-familiar.

Had dinner, and then desert at Prego.

haha, I guess I have improved, but there's always room for improvement.
Got A1s consistently for Physics and D&T throughout the year, very pleased!

Choir today was somewhat enjoyable.
Its really nice if you have reliable ASLs like Samuel that you can trust.
I mean, I know me and Bert were slacking a bit, but its great to take a break once in a while right?

Yes, many things happened today.
Frisbee semifinals was awesome at first,
but halfway into the second half for the match between 3C and 3H, Hakim met with an accident and had to get stitches.
I don't really know who caused what, but I think the most important thing is that Hakim is fine.
He is, he will be back in school tomorrow. Just facebooked him, seems like nothing has happened!

I think it is really useless, pointless and foolish for people to blame others for this.
I mean, its just an accident, no one had intention to hurt others, I presume.
What's the use in blaming others when it has already happened?
I think we should just forget it, and console whoever who feels that they have fault in this incident.

Now, Lunchtime showcase.
I didn't watch the whole thing, only up till the dance of the guys with Wigs (Corncup something? I think).
Adam and the rest were really hilarious!
I thought some others were quite brave to perform. Shan't name names, but I was doubtful that some really wanted to showcase their talent. Maybe they just wanted to quench their thirst for fame? Or maybe they just wanted to experience their alter-ego?
I'm really not in a position to comment about this, its just my opinion.

After that, my group had the IPW presentation for the sec 2s.
Ugh, we had to present 3 times!
At least it was satisfying to know that at least one sec 2 knew the song I used for the slideshow, "Good Days Bad Days" by Kaiser Chiefs. It got really gruelling presenting 3 times haha.

After that, had lunch and then choir.
The sec 1s had to leave at 2 30 for Olympiad tests, and then during that period we Slacksionals instead of Sectionals :D
And then there was combined in the COE room. Sounded quite awesome, really encouraging, but it was also largely due to the fact that the COE room had overly great Acoustics, which for choirs would be a bad thing. We would sound great, but we would not be able to truly hear ourselves with all the mistakes etc.

All in all, today has been bittersweet.
Looking forward to the Frisbee Finals tomorrow :D

"Learning" Journey

You know, I really thought that the learning journey for my class would be insightful.
Yes, it was, but it wasn't what we expected!
The form said "The Singapore Mint", so we thought we would be actually going to the place where they make coins and notes!
Instead, the brought us to the Coins and Notes Museum which was in Chinatown.
-.- We were all so surprised.
Thankfully though, Macs was nearby so we went there after the tour :D
To be more accurate, we raided Macs, haha.

School's been really awesome today.
Witnessed lots of great action with the Frisbee Inter-class League.
3C beat 3F 3/2, and also beat 3G 3/2!
Really proud for the team, they really put in a lot of effort, and it showed during the matches.

I think that the only reason we played Frisbee was because Hanjie from the student council organised it, and he knew that his class 3B was good at it.
However, 3B ended up not being in the finals, LOL!

Choir practice tomorrow is gonna be epic :D

Finally had cold Udon good enough to match up to what I had in Tokyo.
Very reminiscent :D

Went to Ootoya @ Orchard Central.
Apparently its damn famous,there are always queues.
I went to Orchard Central before this time to have lunch at Ootoya, but we had to wait very long, so I went back for dinner on Sat.
The food was delicious, and the prices were acceptable for such scrummy Japanese fare!

I strongly recommend, but go earlier to get a queue number.
Orchard Central level 8, look for the queue.

Have been really busy with things, IPW, revision (hah, right) and truckloads of homework.
Also got back my Violin Grade 8 practical exam results: 112/150 (74.7%), which is a Pass according to ABRSM.
Okay I guess, but a Merit would have been nice.

October is here!
Many upcoming things, choir camp and trip, band concert and many post-exam activities.
School will be really exciting after the EOY exams!

And this year, the theme song incessantly asks you, "What do you see?'
I don't see anything, but I can't help but hear a LAME song, with a LAME melody, and Oh So Cliche Lyrics, even Ah Ber could have written it after feeling a bit sassy/patriotic, gross.

Today was an eventful day for me!

1. During physics, a giant hornet was spotted at the left side of the Physics Lab. The hornet suddenly flew into the orbit of the electric fan blades, and got hit by one of the blades with a "Pung" sound :D REALLY COOL. Haha, the hornet, after being hit, probably died mid-air and slowly flew downwards towards Xavier. One of the girls there screamed, and then Mardhi, at the right side of the Lab started screaming too, just to "join in the panicking". HAHA, so, obviously Mardhi was just screaming for fun, and then the whole class erupted in laughter.

2. During social studies, we were talking about conflict. Mdm Mariam had asked us to bring newspaper cuttings for this lesson, but none of us did. LOL, so she started talking about how we did not meet her expectations and demands, and started nagging and nagging and nagging again! Then she told us how we would not be able to get a good score for O levels? WOW, how encouraging -.-

3. Miss Lui kept to her promise, which she claimed to have remembered from the constant reminders from us, and bought Pizza for us during our lunch break today! YAY MISS LUI! I feel really lucky to have such a loveable form teacher!

(Now isn't this so much more organised? :D)

Looking forward to CE lesson tmr, with this totally wacky teacher.

Saigon was a really great experience.
The Vietnamese food was simply phenomenal!

Well, you're probably wondering why I'm calling Ho Chi Minh City "Saigon".
Saigon is actually the original name of Ho Chi Minh City, and most of the locals also call it Saigon as well.

I LOVED the food there.
There is Pho Bo (Fouwh Boar), which is Vietnamese for Beef Noodle Soup.
Pho Ga (Fouwh Gah), Vietnamese for Chicken Noodle Soup.

I also found that the Vietnamese language has alot of influence from mandarin and Cantonese.
"Thank you" is "Gam Ohn" which sounds like "Gan En", mandarin for expressing your gratitude.
"Chicken" is "Gah" which sounds like "Gei", Cantonese for Chicken.
"Discount" is "Giam Gia" which sounds like "Gam Ga", Cantonese for discount.
"Cambodia" is "Chiam Pu Chia" which sounds like "Qian Pu Za". mandarin for Cambodia.
See what I mean? very fascinating.
There are alot more similar sounds, just that i don't remember :D

We used the remaining icing to have a mini war.

Who knew water could break a Test Tube?

haha, yeah.

I broke a test tube today.

It was damn funny i tell you!

So you know the tap in the labs right? There are tubes on them which you can bend around?

Yeah, i wanted to clean my test tube so i put the tube through my test tube after running the water slowly.

Then, Khai Qi turned the knob for the tap and increased the intensity of the flow of water.

HAHA! Yeah, so the test tube slid out of my very hands and made a "pop" sound as it hit the basin with great strength. The bottom hemisphere of the test tube cracked and broke off, so all was left of my test tube was, well, a tube! Khai Qi and i were laughing like anything lah lols.

So far, me and Khai Qi had created 2 screw ups in the lab.

One is this one, and one was when i spilled paraffin oil on her book earlier this year :X

Today, my class also helped for the Da Vinci Science Challenge for the pri students.

Was quite fun, coz we were all spraying distilled water at each other!

but on the other hand, i feel kinda sad that other people are disappointed there didn't get any position.

It is alright to feel disappointed, its perfectly fine.

Sometimes, in life, you just have to accept things the way they are.

Just like in science, have you ever questioned why electrons must be lost or gained?

You just accepted that right? Accepted the fact that electrons must do so.

What i'm saying is, maybe there are other reasons towards why you did or did not get chosen.

Apart from being a relatively competent singer, you also have to be passionate about choir, you have to command respect, be respected, have the correct attitude and be committed to choir.

And if you didn't get chosen, it does not mean that you're not a good singer etc, but, maybe there are people that are better than you in those aspects?

And anyway, don't think that you're unimportant!

Everyone in choir plays a part.

No members, SLs teach who?

Members are important as well!

I think what happened recently in school has really brought up alot of controversy among the students.

The following is just my opinion, and i hope you can accept my opinion even if you do not agree to it.

I think both Jerome and Darius are at fault.
I think it is rather immature of both of them to be arguing over who got to the street soccer court first.
I dont know what they really fought about, but if it was about the who got here first thing, i think they both could have handled the matter better.
Maybe they could have shared the court? (okay, idk anything about soccer)
Or maybe they could have played together.
After all, they both seemed to be very passionate about soccer so much as to fight over a place to play it.
As a senior, maybe Jerome could have given way to Darius?
Maybe, as a junior, Darius could have not argued with Jerome out of respect?
Anyway, i think it was a little overboard of Jerome to punch Darius in the eye.
One does not have to resort to violence to solve things, and one does not have to argue to get their way.

Many people think that Jerome punched Darius just cause Darius provoked him.
Im sure everyone has been provoked many times in their life, maybe even by teachers.
But you dont see everyone going around punching teachers right?
Im just saying that there are better ways to handle a situation if provoked.
In other words, i feel that its not Darius's fault that Jerome punched him, it is Jerome's fault for not controlling himself.
Anyway, what i have said does not mean that i find no fault in Darius.

it was quite fun actually, although we were all growing old waiting for the results!

and myself and a few others thought that Kranji Sec Choir was quite good,

and we were shocked that they only got a silver instead of a gold D:

i remember mdm rozy once told me "school holidays simple means not waking up so early for school"
you get it right?
anyway, i have to say, i either did very well or very badly for my common test.
i failed 3 subjects!
here are the numbers:

english : 15/30 (i wrote out of point D:)
chinese : 19/50 (expected?)
e maths : 16/40 (lols!)
a maths : 19/40 (LOLS!)
D&T : 34/45 (could have gotten 44 marks D:)
Geog Elect : 19/25 (yay, love this)
Chemistry : 36/50 (okay larh, highest in cohort is 40 only leh)
Physics : 44/50 (love this the most)

as you all can see, i failed both my maths, and i did fairly well for both my sciences! isnt that fascinating!?

on another note, I AM IN A DILEMMA!

3C 3C What Are We? H.O.T H.O.T! 3C 3C What Are We? So Sexy So Sexy!

After much anticipation from my blog viewers (ha, yeah right), I shall post about my sec 3 camp in kota tinggi during early march.
it was like a month of fun all packed snuggly into a 4D3N camp! damn fun k, better than last year's camp.
and one highlight of our camp, AIR-CONDITIONED CHALET ROOMS.
what made it better was that the sec 2s could see and hear us at the chalets while they had those grossgusting tents!

DAY ONE:
morning - came to school as usual, filled in forms, collected passports, met our instructors Shannon & Herman for the first time. Now, i know what you're thinking, 1 guy 1 girl? NO! Shannon is a guy lorh, they claimed his name was a girl's but i think its more of a double gender name lol?
anyway, we set out for kota tinggi in these uber comfy coaches, the journey was shorter than expected.
checked in (haha, you normally wont need to "check-in" to your tents, but we had chalets), had lunch.
next, we played some insanely retarded team-building games which i shan't blog about.
after all that, we had a navigation challenge. it wasnt really a challenge for us, considering that we were quite familiar with the whole campsite, considering we had been there like a year ago :D
again, more team building games, but less retarded.
dinner, AND THEN.........JUNGLE NIGHT RESCUE SCENARIO.
was very cool.
the whole briefing was filled with this kinda dangerous and risky yet exciting feeling, which i totally love.
we had to rescue victims which had injuries.
of course, it was all a simulation so we didnt really take it seriously.
adam shoved a "Mars" candy bar into our victim's mouth coz he was hungry.
and the other group from our class sprayed water into their victim's mouth coz he said he was thirsty.
after that, we had supper and we slept.
and btw, the beds in the chalet were crap lousy shit, so bloody uncomfortable, i didnt wanna sleep on them, so i let someone else take my slot, see, what a humanitarian i am XD

DAY TWO:
had breakfast, then an excruciatingly long kayaking briefing before we finally set out for johor river.
had more briefing, carried the kayaks out, had lunch, more briefing and then finally we got to kayak.
i was with nikki and wen shan. i sat at the back, nikki in the middle and wen shan in front.
haha, i was so fat the kayak sorta slanted to the back, but actually everyone's kayak was also slanted to the back.
kayaking was very fun, but at the same time, very demanding.
you know, it was those "i wanna stop but i know i have to keep going" kinda activities.
we got back to the resort around 5, bathed, had an early dinner, followed by camp preparation.
camp prep was interesting. miss lui sorta commented on our cheer being too complicated with all the dance moves and the length, which i sorta agreed to, a little bit. but then, she didnt really have to say all that right? i mean, as a form teacher, she should let us make mistakes and learn from them, not tell us about problems and spoon feed us with the solutions.
anyway, i think 3a's cheer was totally retarded, and the way they cheered made it worse, they looked as if they were forced to cheer or something, no enthusiasm. 3b's was really catchy, and very easy to learn, which is good! of course, 3c's was great too :D and 3d's was really fun to watch, very "physical" :D

DAY THREE:
had breakfast, and then briefing for Pelepah Waterfall Expedition!
very very enjoyable, all the walking and everything gave us time to chat.
the water was cold, and when we took pictures, someone in front splashed water at someone else, and in a few seconds, our whole class was splashing water at each other! damn funny lorh.
went back, bathed, had dinner, final prep and then CAMPFIRE!
campfire was okay, but the sec2s got all the seats, leaving the sec3s with the benches D;
the music was a nice extra. we all did our cheers, and i think 3c's was the loudest.
after that, had debriefing and then sleeping time.

DAY FOUR:
had our last meal at camp, debriefing and then we set out back for singapore.
3C WON THE BEST CLASS AWARD! :D yay, trophies!
the bus ride was fun, shannon played music for us through the microphone.
we also had to fill in some survey forms, which was pretty impossible coz the bus was very shakey.
took lotsa pics, ate some snacks, passed through customs and the reached tk.
did our final cheer and then said our goodbyes.

you know what, i still miss camp lots.
i still miss everything, except the food, which was just average-ly okay.
and btw, shannon zhao xia damn alot of times can, like 60 times on the 3rd day, damn funny, jared, clement and jinzhaung were counting the number of times he zhao xia-ed.

i think physics and geography was quite okay, i thought it would be more difficult.

yay, i think for dnt i only need to study a few pages, and chem, lol? so boring and so last year.
and yay, i got 18/20 for my chem quiz 3!! and miss lui wrote "fantastic result, Siu Yen :D"
and her smiley had 3 teeth, like a hillbilly, as said by jared.
speaking about miss lui, today, during chem, she held the microphone upside down, and then when jared said "the mic is off miss lui", then she turned it around and then the whole class laughed, and then, she said "yeah, your can laugh, i know its funny too." LOL?
okay, sometimes her lessons are pretty draggy, but im starting to like her more now, and i have never really hated her anyway.

im really looking forward to choir practice this friday, i hope there is practice man!
i really wanna hear the syf group!

and one last thing, during english, we were learning about acronyms and the "SMS lingo", so mrs koh wrote many acronyms on the board, one was "CID".
she asked several students to go to the whiteboard and write down their meanings, and you know Shaza, instead of writing "consider it done" for "CID", she wrote "Central Investigations Department".

yay, omg imma be 15 soon.

and i still have not brought up the whole "iwannabuyanipodnano" discussion with my father yet.

but, i have alr asked my mother to tell him about it secretly for me, and she has.

yeah, my mother always tells my father about me and my sis and she thinks i dont have ears!

haha, so i asked her to "tattle-tale" about me for me, smart eh?

dnt is getting really stressful!

but, stressful is good right? at least i ENJOY it.

yay, its February already.

and i feel quite guilty for not regularly updating my blog.

all the school work and choir practices are really sucking up my time.

and if i have time, i feel too tired or uninspired to blog.

Chinese new year was great!

i collected enough to buy myself an ipod nano.

the problem is, my mother doesn't allow me to buy it unless i discuss it with my father.

she says "you are not old enough to make this kind of decisions by yourself."

HELLO? its a freaking IPOD and you think i need you to approve of me buying it?

she thinks that i cant just make big purchases by myself, how lame is that?

well, i have to get back to my work now.

and i think i will flunk my a maths test on monday.

i have not blogged for quite a while now!

very busy with school work and all.

all those remedials/supplementaries and what nots!

but hey! dnt is so duper fun man.

especially working with the lathe machine (is it called lathe machine?)

hahaha, for making screws lah.

you like take a metal rod and spin it around while using a blade to cut it.

so fun! i think we're making a G-clamp!

and you know wut?

during chemistry right,

on tuesday, we did a practical.

so we had to find the freezing point of stearic acid.

that ms lui ask us to take the stearic acid first you know,

then it alr froze before we could start the experiment coz she wanted us to wait before doing the experiment.

so we had to melt the stearic acid again, and when it was time to redo the experiment, there was like only 19 more mins till the class ends.

so she made us stay back, which we didnt have to do if she hadn't screwed our experiment for us.

and then, when we stayed back, we ended up not doing the experiment because another class was using the equipment.

and the worst part is, she used the excuse "your will be missing lessons during chinese new year so i have to make up lessons for you" to make us stay back!

like its not our fault we celebrate chinese new year right?

ugh, amy lui is damn weird sometimes, and her chemistry lessons are BO-RING.

i'd say that 3c is quite okay.

everyone is just abit shy coz we dont really know each other well.

i think after the sec3 cohort camp, we'd all be quite bonded, or at least i hope so.

haha, everyone's quite friendly though, so i dont worry too much.

most of you may think that im having a really peaceful life now right?

but i totally dislike my father.

for 2009, i want to argue less with my parents, but my father is really making it very difficult for me to not argue with him.

my idiotic father is a heartless waste of human flesh.

he always scolds us and never even thinks about how we may feel.

he asks my mother for directions, and when its wrong, he will blame her?!

like wth?

i totally hate him now man.

i've been putting up for much too long alr.

he thinks he's oh-so-kind and oh-so-generous by giving me this macbook.

and now he's threatening to take it back of i dont "behave"

he thinks me as a son cannot argue or disagree with him.

like yesterday for instance,

he "kindly" offered to get me a new phone.

you know why?

its not because he was kind to me or anything, but he simply wanted to upgrade his line to a cheaper one and by upgrading his line, he could upgrade his phone as well, so he offered to get me a new phone lah.

so we went to the hello singtel shop at parkway and queued.

then when we got to the counter, i asked for w595 in jungle grey colour.

they did not have it.

then, that shitbrain asked me if wanted another one.

the jungle grey was not in stock and we could reserve, but he didnt want to wait coz he wanted to upgrade his line oh so badly.

a few moments later and it was like he was forcing me to get a phone which i dont like.

so i liked this other phone, which was also not in stock, so he got fed-up.

in the end, he chose to wait for my jungle grey 595.

then when we were walking back to the ca, he was reprimanding me for always wanting things my way!?

LIKE HELLO? who the hell wouldnt wanna like the phone they're using.

if you dont wanna bloody be patient, then just upgrade your bloody line yourself larh.

its not like i'd feel any better with you in my life even if i had a new phone right?

and then, when we got home, he started scolding me and my sister for always wanting this and that.

and then, he started to tell us that he may cancel our lines, coz he thinks that we are too privileged alr.

like wth? who eats watermelon for breakfast?

so i sad no, i'll eat it later.

then he went into the kitchen and while he was cutting, is watermelon, he said "what attitude is this, watermelon also must eat later"

so yeah, i flared up, and i said "if you dont want me to not eat watermelon now, then what is the point of asking me if i want it or not when you know i may not want it now?!"

like what is the point of giving me a choice whether to eat it or not if you're not gonna allow me to not eat it?

FUCK YOU LARH.

then he came out and he started to talk some crap shit?

"yes, i know you dont want to eat watermelon now, but you must also remember that we are living in a small community and you must learn to compromise sometimes. why dont you just compromise sometimes nd we can have a win win situation."

then i replied "if i didnt want to eat it now, you could have just cut it for yourself instead of wanting to force me to eat watermelon right? just cut it for yourself if i dont want to eat it, instead of "kindly" offering to cut me some and then force me to have it when i dont want it"

he's a total shitbrain i tell you, he's so heartless and selfish and he only cares about himself.

he thinks he so big and like everything he says is correct.

most of the time we correct him but he refuses to accept that he's wrong, only until he realises he really is wrong.

what a way to start a new year.

i hope he will be cursed for being so heartless.

anyway, i wont let him get me down, and i'll always have my besties so im rather happy, and i rather pity my father too.

today we had class outing at sentosa,

i brought extra clothes, but no towel! so unlike me to be so absentminded right?

lols, today was really fun.

first, we met up at vivo for lunch.

i got tom yam vermicelli for $5, and daren claimed i was cheated of my money.

yeah, i did feel bad, until i found out daren's lunch cost $7.80.

haha, so i said to him, "who's the one being cheated?"

lols, so after that, we waited for quentin, darius, shija and adrian to arrive from the mrt.

then, when darius came, he told us that he wanted to have lunch with shija and adrian, so we waited in vain -.-

haha, so we went to sentosa first.

there, we went to siloso beach and played frisbee,volleyball.

after that, darius came and we all went to play in the water.

LOL and i dropped my specs in the water coz i attempted a handstand.

i was dam scared can, like seriously!

SORE THROAT SITUATION!

dammit!

my sore throat is at the no-chocolate-no-friedfood-no-coldsweetdrinks stage

what the hell man,

ever since i've been back from batam, i had this damn sore throat.

lols, anyway, batam was quite fun actually.

we went to the keropok shop on the first day!

and we had a sumptuous feast of seafood on the first day before we went to our beach resort too.

there were quite alot of choirs there.

hahaha, and we saw MJC there as well :D

we had many hours of training with Adyll (yeah, that's how you spell his name) and the tenors had an hour of sectionals with mr kwei where he thought us the whole of ZHU LI GUAN!

it was so amazing lorh!

then there was once we had combined sectionals with the altos, because we tenors needed the keyboard but the altos just had to have it as well.

yeah, when we almost started, then merilyn asked the tenors to shut up, when obviously the altos were making alot of noise as well. i knew everyone was kind off exhausted and temperamental, but that doesnt mean you can just scream at people right?

then when we finished revising double double toil and trouble, then the altos wanted to stay behind because the wanted to "see" our choreography!

pls man, you think its nice when others are doing something rather embarrassing and you're over there giggling at them and criticising them.

i think the alto SLs did not really care about how the tenors may have felt and just wanted to stay fro their own pleasure.

and then, astrid said something really mean to kenny, and i think because of that, kenny forced himself to sing more and then he felt a pain in his chest.

im not flaming anyone here, im just saying what i really want to say and i hope those that may have felt offended by this would change.

the last night, we were allowed to stay up, so we went to each other's rooms and also ate keropok in the lobby.

I'm sick, SICK AND TIRED, of adults like our teachers and parents,
ALWAYS FKING TELLING US WHAT TO DO.

I personally hate people telling me what to do, unless, of course, i want to do what they tell me to do.
We, the teenagers, are the future of the world, why should we give respect to adults if they don't respect us first?
Without us, they would be NOTHING. they would not have jobs, they would not have anyone to nag at, they would have no one to love, no on to care about, no one to believe in and no one to help them.
So i ask all you teenagers, do you feel unimportant? do you feel disrespected?
Well, I feel that adults have to respect US before they even think about being respected by us!
You may think that i sound like my ego's as huge as the statue of liberty, but isn't it for a fact that we are the future and the future lies in our hands?
Dammit, a country would be so boring, so unstylish without us.
We set the trends, we change the world, we make it a better place for the future generations.
WE MAKE THE WORLD GO ROUND.
All those fashion designers, all those artists, they all were once great and vibrant teenagers like us.
